How to find Dreamweaver
As shown below, Dreamweaver is located within Macromedia which is within the ‘all programs’ menu and this is found by clicking the green ‘start’ button.

Creating a new Dreamweaver file
Within Dreamweaver there are many types of files which can be created and this depends on the programming language you site will be created in. The Basis of designing a web site will be designed in ‘HTML’ (Hyper Text Markup Language) and this is the language which Dreamweaver writes for you, for you to be able to design your web page.

Here we will select from the options Create New >> HTML as shown in the screen shot below:
